Join us at Hawkenbury Recreation Ground for Hawk Rec Fest – our biggest and best community event yet!
Following the success of the last three summer events we've held, this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger and better, with more to see, do, and enjoy.
There’ll be a fantastic mix of local stalls, food trucks serving pizza, burgers, and fish & chips, plus ice cream, face painting, and a range of local performances and demonstrations throughout the event – including a welcome return for the much-loved Clayton, who was our brilliant compère at our Queen’s Jubilee celebration.
We’re also excited to welcome the local Scouts, who’ll be running games and activities throughout the day – perfect for kids (and grown-ups!) looking for a bit of fun.
Joe Box Coffee will be back serving your favourite brews, and The Flying Horse will be keeping things cool with their prosecco and beer offerings.
We’re also delighted to announce that St Peter’s School Choir will be performing – a fantastic addition to our line-up of local talent.
Important note: With Sunday forecast to be one of the hottest days of the year, please remember to stay hydrated, bring sun cream, and wear a hat – we want everyone to enjoy the day safely and comfortably.
We’d like to say a big thank you to St Peter’s School for kindly allowing us to use their car park for free. The school is located just opposite the Rec on Hawkenbury Road, TN2 5BW, offering convenient parking for visitors.
Best of all – it’s completely free to attend! Whether you’re browsing the stalls, grabbing a bite to eat, or relaxing with friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We’d love for you to come along and be part of this growing Hawkenbury tradition.
Everyone’s welcome – see you there
